On Thursday 31st March the second edition of the Yamaha Dealer Built competition came to a close after an impressive round of voting. Over 22,000 votes were cast for builds from across Europe, as custom bike fans got online to register their appreciation and deliver three category winners; Spain's Eduardo Castro Motors in the Mono/ Parallel Twin category, Poland's UHMA Bike in the V2/ V4 category and Greece's Jigsaw Custom Motorcycles in the Parallel 4 category. Added to the three publicly voted category winners, a fourth special Grand Jury Favourite was chosen, the winner Pol and Position from Poland.
Building on the global success of Yamaha's Yard Built projects that saw custom builders around the world working their magic on the Sport Heritage range of motorcycles, the Yamaha Dealer Built competitions take custom building into the heart of the Yamaha family. As with the hugely successful first round, this second competition has again seen Yamaha Dealers across Europe testing their skills and their imaginations to create their own Yard Built machines (http://www.yamaha-yardbuilt.com/en#/grid/entries).
